“We had the pleasure of having Ellie Gregson working with us for four weeks on the film “Last Christmas” for Universal Films. Ellie adapted to our working environment immediately, which I understand was a complete contrast to her normal one.

 

We involved her in every aspect of the Prop Department on a major film production. This consisted of dressing sets, working in the prop store, prop making, and being with the camera with the standby props.

 

Ellie’s attitude and commitment to the tasks given were highly commendable. She always spotted tasks that needed doing without prompting.

 

On one occasion Ellie had to make an exact copy of a special action prop very quickly on set. This she did with complete confidence and calmness gave the demanding circumstances. Even the director and producer of the film commended and thanked Ellie for this.

 

I would have no hesitation in offering her a trainee position in my department.
